The Lynx Smart BMS is engineered to manage Victron Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) Smart batteries, available in 12.8 V or 25.6 V configurations and various capacities. Whether you need a 12V, 24V, or 48V system, the Lynx Smart BMS supports series, parallel, and series/parallel connections, allowing you to build a robust battery bank tailored to your marine setup. Capable of handling up to 20 batteries, it provides substantial energy storage—up to 84 kWh for a 12V system and up to 102 kWh for 24V and 48V systems.

Key Features

Built-in 1000 A Contactor

The integrated contactor serves as a secondary safety mechanism, protecting your batteries by disconnecting loads and chargers if primary controls fail. It also functions as a remotely controllable main system switch, enhancing overall system reliability.

Pre-charge Circuit

Prevent high inrush currents with the built-in pre-charge circuit, ideal for connecting capacitive loads like MultiPlus/Quattro inverters. This feature eliminates the need for external pre-charging equipment, simplifying your marine electrical setup.

Comprehensive Monitoring and Control

Stay informed and in control with Bluetooth connectivity via the VictronConnect App or a GX device such as the Cerbo GX. Access real-time data on state of charge, voltage, current, and more through the VRM Portal. The built-in battery monitor offers instant diagnostics, even without a direct connection to the BMS.

DVCC Closed Loop Control and ATC/ATD Contacts

Automatically manage Victron inverters/chargers and solar chargers through connected GX devices and DVCC. Utilize the ATC/ATD contacts to control additional chargers and remote on/off loads, ensuring efficient power distribution on your vessel.

Programmable Relay

Customize your system with the programmable relay, useful for alarm functions or controlling alternators via external regulators. In Alternator ATC mode, the relay ensures the alternator is shut off before disconnecting the battery, enhancing system safety.

AUX Terminal

The onboard auxiliary power supply provides 1.1 A @ system voltage to essential loads like GX devices. In the event of a low cell voltage, the BMS will shut down non-essential loads, maintaining critical system functions until charging resumes.

VE.Can and NMEA 2000 Data Communication

Integrate seamlessly with marine networks using VE.Can, which supports standard RJ45 cabling and NMEA 2000 protocols. Easily connect to marine multifunction displays (MFDs) for comprehensive system monitoring.

Lynx Distributor Fuse Monitoring
