Boasting up to 94% efficiency, the Blue Smart IP22 Charger generates significantly less heat compared to standard chargers. This high efficiency not only prolongs the charger's lifespan but also reduces power consumption to as low as 0.5 Watts once the battery is fully charged.

Adaptive 6-Stage Charging Algorithm

Featuring a microprocessor-controlled adaptive battery management system, the charger automatically optimizes the charging process based on your battery's usage. The six stages include:

1. Test
2. Bulk
3. Absorption
4. Recondition
5. Float
6. Storage

Storage Mode

When your boat's battery is not in use for 24 hours, the Storage Mode activates, reducing the float voltage to minimize gassing and corrosion. This mode also features a weekly voltage equalization to prevent electrolyte stratification and sulfation, enhancing battery longevity.

Compatibility with Li-ion Batteries

The Blue Smart IP22 Charger is versatile, supporting Li-ion batteries with a straightforward bulk – absorption – float charging algorithm.

Fully Discharged Battery Recovery

Even if your boat's battery is fully discharged to zero volts, the charger can initiate the charging process and safely reconnect to Li-ion batteries with internal disconnect functions.

Night and Low Power Settings

Operate your charger quietly during nighttime or low power settings by reducing the output current to 50% of the nominal value. Night mode automatically ends after 8 hours, while Low mode can be terminated manually.

Overheating Protection

The charger is designed to prevent overheating by reducing the output current as the temperature rises, ensuring safe and reliable operation up to 50°C.

LED Status Indicators

Featuring eleven LEDs, the charger provides clear status indications for each stage of the charge algorithm: TEST, BULK, ABSORPTION, RECONDITION, FLOAT, STORAGE, and READY. The MODE button allows you to set NORMAL (14.4V), HIGH (14.7V), RECONDITION, or LI-ION modes.
