How BatteryProtect Works

The BatteryProtect is engineered to manage electrical currents efficiently on your vessel. As a unidirectional device, it allows current to flow in only one direction—either to your boat’s loads or from a charger, but not both simultaneously. This ensures that:

• When connected to a load, the battery supplies power exclusively to essential systems, disconnecting nonessential ones before the battery is fully discharged.
• When connected to a charger, the BatteryProtect allows charging current to flow into the battery without interference.

The connection setup is straightforward:

• Load Configuration: Connect the battery to the Battery terminal.
• Charging Configuration: Connect the charger to the Battery terminal.
