Product Description
Product Description
The Hustler® Right Hand Aluminum Propeller LE-1417-3-Blade is engineered for optimal performance, offering boaters the perfect balance of speed, efficiency, and durability. Designed with precision and crafted using advanced Squeeze Casting technology, this 3-blade propeller delivers superior thrust and handling, making it an ideal choice for a variety of marine applications.
Unmatched Engineering and Performance
Turning Point is renowned for manufacturing some of the best performing aluminum propellers in the world. The Hustler 3-Blade Propeller leverages state-of-the-art Squeeze Casting technology to achieve speeds comparable to, and sometimes exceeding, competitors' stainless steel props. The combination of super stiff metallurgy, unique blade geometry, aggressive pitch, rake, and cup design ensures exceptional performance at aluminum prices.
- Top Speed: Achieve high speeds without compromising efficiency.
- Enhanced Handling: Improved maneuverability for a smoother boating experience.
- Fuel Efficiency: Optimized mid-range performance reduces gas usage, saving you money.
If you seek to maximize your boat and engine combination’s potential, the Hustler 3-Blade Propeller is the perfect solution.
Three Blade vs. Four Blade
The Hustler Three Blade is ideal for boaters targeting maximum top-end speed and excellent bow lifting capabilities. In contrast, four-blade propellers offer faster acceleration, stern lift, better handling in rough or following seas, and maintain speed more effectively when the boat is loaded. While three blades perform exceptionally well on pontoons, both three and four blades are suitable for tri-toons, especially when using larger blade diameters compared to runabouts or bass boat hulls.
Squeeze Cast Technology for Superior Strength
Our Hustler Aluminum Propellers incorporate stainless steel performance through innovative blade geometry and the exclusive Squeeze Casting manufacturing process. This method produces a high-density, tighter grain structure, resulting in the highest mechanical properties achievable in cast aluminum props. The stiffer blades reduce flex, enhancing prop speed and efficiency.
Unlike competitors using outdated Die-Cast processes that create air bubbles, voids, and granularity, our Squeeze Cast technology ensures strong, durable, and easy-to-repair propellers. This results in less flex under load, increased propulsive efficiency, and overall superior performance.
Long-Lasting Ultracoat™ Powder Coated Finish
Exclusive to Turning Point, the Ultracoat™ powder coat provides a finish that rivals fine automotive standards while offering greater durability than traditional paint. Our five-step Ultracoat process delivers a shiny, uniform appearance that enhances your boat’s aesthetics and provides the gold standard in aluminum corrosion protection. This ensures your propeller maintains a like-new appearance for longer compared to competitors' four-step paint and coating processes, which offer inferior abrasion and corrosion resistance.
Enhanced Exhaust Flow
Turning Point's propeller housings feature large, free-flowing exhaust ports, boasting 40% more exhaust flow area than competitive products. This increased exhaust flow and reduced backpressure can generate additional horsepower, similar to the benefits of header systems for your boat.
