Lithium-Ion Battery and Charger

The HX400 comes equipped with a high-capacity 2550mAh Lithium-Ion battery, providing up to 17 hours of continuous talking time. Charging is swift with the included 3-hour rapid chargers for both 110 VAC and 12 VDC power sources, ensuring your radio is ready when you need it.

Marine and Land Mobile Channels

Factory programmed with all USA, Canadian, and International marine channels, along with NOAA Weather channels, the HX400 supports 40 Land Mobile Radio channels (137-174MHz) with CTCSS or DCS signaling. Note that programming land mobile channels requires an appropriate Federal Communications Commission (FCC) license.

Advanced Audio Features

The built-in noise-canceling microphone ensures clear voice transmissions even in noisy and windy environments. Additionally, the HX400 features an internal voice scrambler for secure communications, compatible with Standard Horizon VHF Fixed Mount and Handheld VHF 4-code scramblers. The radio’s internal speaker delivers loud, clear audio with 700mW of power, making it audible in the noisiest settings.

Warranty

The HX400 is backed by a 3-year waterproof warranty. If your radio experiences any failures, including water damage during normal use within the first three years, Standard Horizon will repair or replace it free of charge. After the initial coverage period, the HX400 is protected for its lifetime under Standard Horizon's Lifetime Flat Rate Service Program.
