Installation Instructions

1. Prepare the Mounting Area: Clean the hull or deck surface where the deck plate will be installed to ensure proper adhesion.
2. Apply Silicone Sealant: Apply a generous bead of silicone sealant to the mounting surface to create a watertight seal.
3. Position the Deck Plate: Place the deck plate firmly onto the prepared surface, ensuring it is aligned correctly.
4. Secure with Fasteners: Use six #8 FH fasteners (not included) to attach the deck plate. Tighten evenly to ensure a secure fit without over-tightening.
5. Maintain Threads: Keep threads clean by cleaning with hot, soapy water before installation and lubricate with Vaseline or Teflon grease to facilitate smooth operation.
