Installation Instructions

1. Prepare the Surface: Clean the hull or deck surface thoroughly. Ensure threads are free from debris by washing with hot, soapy water.
2. Apply Sealant: Use a high-quality silicone sealant on the areas where the deck plate will be mounted to ensure a watertight fit.
3. Lubricate Threads: Apply Vaseline or Teflon grease to the threads to facilitate smooth installation and prevent corrosion.
4. Secure the Deck Plate: Install the deck plate using six #8 FH fasteners (not included). Ensure each fastener is tightened properly without over-tightening.
5. Final Checks: Inspect the installation to ensure the deck plate is securely attached and there are no gaps or leaks.
