Easy Installation Guide

1. Prepare the Surface: Clean the hull or deck area where the deck plate will be installed using hot, soapy water to remove any dirt or debris.
2. Apply Silicone Sealant: Spread a bead of silicone sealant around the perimeter of the installation area to ensure a watertight seal.
3. Position the Deck Plate: Place the Quarter-Turn Deck Plate onto the prepared surface, aligning it as desired.
4. Secure with Fasteners: Insert and tighten six #8 FH fasteners (not included) evenly around the deck plate. The new locking system will help prevent over-tightening and ensure a secure fit.
5. Lubricate Threads: Before installation, apply Vaseline or Teflon grease to the threads of the fasteners to facilitate smooth tightening and prevent corrosion.

• Regular Cleaning: Keep the deck plate and surrounding area clean by rinsing with fresh water and using hot, soapy water to remove any buildup.
