The Gen3 SailPod boasts enhanced structural rigidity with a thicker gauge acrylic capped ABS material. This upgrade not only improves overall strength but also provides a larger waterproof seal. The combination of high-strength acrylic and durable ABS ensures minimal flexing during installation, maintaining a consistent pressure on the seal. Additionally, the acrylic cap offers excellent UV stability, protecting the ABS from harmful UV rays and prolonging the lifespan of the SailPod.

Superior Waterproof Seal

Engineered to withstand the harshest offshore boating conditions, all SailPods feature a double gasket system for an outstanding watertight seal. The Gen3 enhancements include a thicker external silicone gasket with an improved flush fit and an internal Poran Microcell Polyurethane gasket that is 50% thicker. Unlike many rubber compounds, this gasket resists compression set, ensuring reliable protection even during future servicing of your electronics.

Premium Nickel Chrome Plated Stainless Steel

Each SailPod comes equipped with 316 stainless steel hardware, including large round head tamperproof screws with deeper sockets for enhanced holding strength. The Gen3 NavPods are further upgraded with nickel chrome-plated stainless steel screws, adding both security and a touch of style to your mounting solution.

Installation Compatibility

The SailPod is designed for versatility in mounting. It is best installed on a Single Bend AngleGuard, or alternatively, a Double Bend AngleGuard can be used to fit an InstrumentPod on the top vertical section with the SailPod positioned below on the angled section. This flexibility ensures a secure and aesthetically pleasing setup on your vessel.
