Encased in a durable, quick-release carry-off bag, this compact and lightweight transponder is easy to operate and deploy, allowing rescue authorities and nearby AIS-equipped vessels to accurately identify and locate the survival craft.

Once activated, the SmartFind S5A AIS SART continuously transmits survivor information for a minimum of 96 hours. It sends structured alert messages, precise GPS position data, and a serialized identity number. The integrated high-precision GNSS receiver ensures accurate location tracking, facilitating swift detection and rescue of the survival craft.
