Compliance and Regulations

Ensure compliance with all local and Federal regulations regarding waste discharge:

• No direct overboard discharge of untreated waste is allowed within three miles of shore.
• Many near shore and inland areas are designated as "No-Discharge Zones," where the discharge of any onboard waste, even treated, is strictly prohibited.
• The Y-Valve accommodates these regulations by allowing the selector handle to be padlocked in the onboard retention mode, ensuring waste is directed to an onboard holding tank.
