Easy Installation

Replacing the impeller is straightforward:

1. Remove the end cover screws.
2. Use a Jabsco Impeller Removal Tool or channel lock pliers to grip and remove the impeller hub.

Important: Do not use screwdrivers, as they can damage the pump body and cause leaks. Additionally, screwdrivers can be hazardous in confined spaces.

Always carry spare impellers on board to address emergencies promptly. The impeller is a crucial component of your engine's cooling system and should be maintained accordingly.

Tip: Always grease new impellers before installation. This not only facilitates easier installation into the pump bore but also provides added protection during the initial priming of the pump. After replacing the gasket and end cover, your pump will be ready for use.
