Installation Instructions

1. Location: Install the sensor near the propane-powered appliance, preferably close to the floor where fuel leaks are most likely to occur.
2. Mounting: Use the appropriate #8 mounting hardware to securely attach the Propane Fume Sensor to the desired location.
3. Gasket Installation: Place the rubber gasket between the sensor and the mounting surface to ensure a secure and airtight fit.
4. Avoid High-Traffic Areas: Position the sensor away from areas prone to physical damage such as high-traffic zones where cleaning, mopping, or accidental impacts may occur.
5. Connection: Connect the sensor to the extension cable using the attached quick-disconnect connectors. (Note: Quick-disconnect connectors are sold separately)
6. Maintenance: Do not use harsh chemicals to clean the sensor. Instead, gently wipe with a mild detergent to maintain sensor integrity.
