How It Works

The Euro White Fuel Level Gauge operates by sending a low amperage current through the gauge's meter to ground via a sending unit with variable resistance. Changes in fuel pressure, temperature, and other factors cause the resistance of the sending unit to fluctuate. As the resistance varies, the current flowing through to the ground changes, and the meter deflects accordingly to display the current fuel level.
