How It Works

This electronic tachometer operates by counting pulses generated by your engine’s ignition system, alternator, tach signal generator, or magnetic pickup sender. Installation requires connecting the tachometer to a +12VDC power source, ground, and one of the compatible signal sources. By selecting the appropriate tach setting and adjusting the switch on the back, you calibrate the tachometer to recognize the number of pulses per engine revolution, ensuring accurate RPM monitoring.
