How the Dress White Water Pressure Gauge Works

This water pressure gauge functions by transmitting a low amperage current through its meter to the ground via a sending unit with variable resistance. Changes in pressure, temperature, and other factors cause the resistance of the sending unit to fluctuate. As the resistance varies, the current flowing to the ground changes, which in turn causes the meter to deflect.
