MOB Support and Safety

The GPS160 includes support for an external MOB (Man Overboard) switch or device. When activated, it generates a “synthesized” AIS (Automatic Identification System) SART (Search and Rescue Transponder) MOB message on the NMEA output. This feature enables seamless interfacing with local plotters for immediate MOB identification and response.

Unmatched Positioning Accuracy

With support for GPS, Glonass, and Galileo positioning, the GPS160 ensures optimal fix accuracy and reliability. The TriNav technology synergizes signals from all three satellite systems, offering sub-meter accuracy in most scenarios.
