It incorporates SOTDMA format transmissions, providing a guaranteed time slot for data transmission even in high-traffic areas, ensuring faster update rates tailored to the vessel’s speed. The AIT5000 is ideal for maritime enthusiasts and professionals who demand top-tier performance and future-proof satellite tracking capabilities.

Digital Yacht has pioneered a new range of Class B+ AIS transponders. The Class B+ standard uses SOTDMA messaging instead of the traditional CSTDMA, guaranteeing your AIS transmissions secure a time slot in congested waters. With a higher power output and dynamic transmission rates based on vessel speed, the AIT5000 is designed for optimal performance in various marine applications while maintaining interoperability with existing Class B and Class A systems.

The AIT5000 features a patented ZeroLoss VHF-AIS antenna splitter, allowing your main VHF antenna to be shared seamlessly between VHF, AIS, and FM radio applications. Additionally, it offers a wireless interface, enabling connectivity with iPads, smartphones, and tablets for convenient monitoring and configuration.

AIS transmissions can be easily managed using the AISConfig app or remotely silenced with an optional remote silence switch, providing flexibility and control over your AIS operations.

The AIT5000 also offers an AIS SART alarm option, enhancing safety by integrating with personal AIS MOB devices. It is now compatible with the popular Navionics Boating App for both Apple iOS and Android, allowing you to display GPS and AIS data directly on your Navionics charts.
