How to Use the Captain Hook Chain Snubber

1. Windlass Tension Relief: Use the claw and attached nylon line to snub the chain overboard, then tie off the line securely to a cleat or samson post on deck to alleviate windlass tension.
2. On-Deck Security: Secure the chain in your anchor roller with the snubber on deck and tie off to a cleat while underway, ensuring your anchor remains stable.
3. Alternate Tension Relief: Attach the snubber to the chain in the anchor roller, pull back the nylon line, and tie it off securely to further relieve windlass strain.
