Installation Guidelines

Installing the MM-8G Mix & Match Cable is straightforward:

1. Connect the short 2-meter pigtail with the Airmar 5-pin female connector to the transducer.
2. Attach the 8-meter brand-specific adapter cable featuring an Airmar 5-pin male connector to the pigtail.
3. Connect the other end of the adapter cable to your marine electronics unit.

If you decide to switch to a different brand of marine electronics in the future, simply replace the adapter cable without needing to remove the transducer.

Available Accessories

For extended connectivity, a 12-meter (40') extension cable (part MM-5P-5P) is available. This extension features one male and one female 5-pin connector, allowing for additional flexibility in your setup.

Important Notes

• Ensure that you are using the MM-8G Mix & Match Cable exclusively with 600W transducers. It is not compatible with 1kW transducers.
• Both the short pigtail and the adapter cable are required for proper installation.
