The NGX-1 is available in two variants to cater to different connectivity needs:

ISO Variant

The ISO variant is tailored for seamless integration with NMEA 0183 devices. It features dedicated data wires for both transmit and receive, allowing bi-directional data sharing when necessary. Key technologies include:

Enhanced Compatibility

Integrate the NGX-1 seamlessly with Raymarine® products using the STNG-A06045 adaptor cable. This cable allows Raymarine SeaTalkNG devices to communicate with standard NMEA 2000® networks and vice versa. Please note that this adaptor is only available when purchased alongside an Actisense NMEA 2000® Gateway product.

Security and Control

As an NMEA 2000 to PC Gateway, the NGX-1 acts as a rule-enforcing firewall between your PC and the marine network. This gives you full control over the data flow, allowing you to specify which information is transmitted or blocked. The device can transfer every currently available NMEA 2000 PGN to a PC application, enabling comprehensive data management and monitoring.
