Unlike traditional kill cords, the Guardian allows crew members to move freely around the boat without the hassle of attaching and detaching physical cords continuously.

Customizable Tag Modes

• Engine Stop: Functions as a kill cord, stopping the vessel when the tag is out of range without triggering MOB alerts.
• MOB Alert: Activates an alert on the vessel without cutting the engine.
• Engine Stop + MOB Alert: Triggers both crew alerts and cuts off the engine simultaneously.

How the Guardian Works

• The Guardian can track up to 25 OLAS transmitting devices (OLAS T2, OLAS Tag, OLAS Float-On) within range, allowing crew and skipper to move freely with the assurance that the engine will be cut off and/or an alarm will be triggered if someone goes overboard.
• Installation is straightforward, connecting the Guardian to your vessel's 12/24V power supply and existing kill switch using the provided connectors.
• A 21mm hole is needed near the existing kill switch to install the 20mm stainless steel LED control switch.

Professional installation is recommended to ensure proper setup, as ACR Electronics does not accept liability for incorrect installation.

Connect the Guardian to your vessel’s power supply to ensure continuous operation whenever the boat is powered. The power wires can easily splice into an existing power source from the boat’s battery.

Through Panel Mounting

The compact stainless steel switch requires minimal modification to your existing center console, fitting through a 21mm hole for seamless integration.

Color-Coded Control Switch

The intuitive color-coded control switch simplifies system operation and setup without relying solely on the OLAS App. During setup, a red indicator light signals the automatic setup stages, while a green light confirms the system is active. In an alarm situation, the light reverts to red.

System Feedback

The Guardian provides real-time feedback on the number of connected OLAS transmitters during setup. Transmitters can be added via the mobile app or through a straightforward inbuilt switching process.
